Ghajini

Disclaimer - This is not a movie review

Its 12:30 midnight and I just finished watching Ghajini. To be very frank, I did not liked the movie a bit. Its dumb, its meaningless and reminds me of movies of past full of blood, revenge, cold-blooded murders, senseless fight sequences and above all lacking any aim. I would have still found the movie ok had they not shown the senseless cold-blooded murders in the middle and end of movie. Sorry Mr. Director, I did not go well with me.

From last few years, I have seen Bollywood movies maturing from these senseless themes and switching to more meaningful and sometimes lighter stuff. That’s what I prefer and I would like that trend to continue. Aamir Khan though acted well in the movie but I would prefer him more in Taare Zameen Par kind of movies rather than this honest but stupid & dumb remake of its original. Asin looked pretty adorable portraying too ideal a character. Hoping that trend of these stupid masala movies does not return back in Bollywood on account of the success the movie is getting. But again, that success has nothing to do with movie. It can only be attributed to Aamir Khan's on screen presence and some pure advertising and marketing gimmicks.

PS – Feels good to be blogging after long time though. Good way to vent out, whatever it is. :)
